At Livity, we created an animated film aimed at 11-to-16 year olds for The Royal Foundation, the charity organisation of Prince William, in a bid to tackle cyberbullying. The camaign was animated by James Curran and features the rich voice of Matt Berry.
We knew we had to strike a balance between practical information that makes a difference and entertainment that holds your attention. Inspired by crossover animation like Adventure Time, our art direction focuses on our hero phone character and a supporting cast designed to reflect internet culture and the tech accessories we all use today. Bold colour and punchy, playful typography balances out the fun of James Curran's animation style with the information we want young people to take away.
